Today, we held meetings with senior managers to assess the City’s performance on several governance areas:

💰Revenue, Expenditure, Budget Performance Committee meeting | In July 2026, Tshwane recorded an increase in revenue collection of over R4,6 billion. This follows a similar upward revenue increase witnessed in June 2026, where we closed off the financial year with revenue of R4,1 billion.

📈We also held an Economic Growth Committee meeting to track progress with the roll-out of Ithuba Youth Development Programme. We also discussed the implementation of Tshwane’s tourism strategy. Tshwane will host some of the games allocated for the 2027 Cricket World Cup. @CityTshwane
