@tedlieu@GOP Democrats are actively trying to raise corporate taxes right now...and the Georgia voter law change was just proven to have a net positive gain on voting access...
Everybody stand by for another 2 trillion in Democrat spending that has nothing to do with infrastructure...and they'll probably try and smash through student debt forgiveness too.
The Senate parliamentarian has ruled that Democrats may amend the budget resolution they used for their Covid-19 relief bill and attach another set of reconciliation instructions to it, according to two sources familiar with the matter https://t.co/K3IxSVlzLQ
California and New York high minimum wages as compared to the Federal Minimum wage, but both have sky rocketing debt and horrible homeless and poverty rates...it's almost like you can't legislate prosperity
@PramilaJayapal Or, we could fund a nation wide high school finance curriculum to educate people of all races about the importance of ROI and the responsibility that comes along with taking on debt.
@HouseDemocrats Time to vote new people in then. I don't see how a bunch of millionaires that don't depend on the same healthcare, retirement, or stimulus aid that we do can possibly represent us.
@RepJayapal That's because the "Stimulus" bill could have been 3 pages, and not 500. Way to pass a lot of your liberal wish list in the form of "relief" though. Also, we shouldn't be subsidizing having children.
