It's no secret that the Nomad Project is definitely form over function, BUT I still needed something to protect the leg from the heat of the exhaust.
I ended up spending a ton of time making a sliding heatshield that hides under the fixed one

If I don't come up with some last minute overcomplicated stupid idea like usual.
