@PolitlcsUK@MavenPolitic What about the bit where he tells the police I have been stabbed and the police officer replies with “I don’t think you have mate”
@basedandbougie If it is a straight choice he is absolutely bang on and outsmart med by Femi??? All he did was try to attack his class and when that failed attacked other millionaires. It was embarrassing for Femi.
@mansfieldrv6@noticer_101@GBPolitcs Reform has shown themselves to be lacking. They further have imported failed tories that were the architects of this mess.
What if all of the following are true:
Britain is no longer a democracy, it’s a credential-weighted compliance system.
Real power flows through the Treasury, regulators, and courts because they own risk.
The state doesn’t govern, it processes risk.
Policy is downstream of risk frameworks, not ideology or voter preference.
Parliament is a signalling layer, not a decision layer.
MPs signal moral alignment, launder system decisions into narratives, and absorb public anger.
Britain is governed by inherited assumptions that cannot be named.
Growth must not visibly benefit natives; legibility to international systems outranks domestic coherence.
Immigration was never a policy choice, it was a structural output.
Rather than adapt institutions to declining native compliance, the system imported populations less able to contest authority.
The real constitution is statistical, not written.
Bond yields, ratings, and legal harmonisation constrain action more than elections.
The collapse already happened, it looked like stability without purpose.
Britain isn’t misgoverned.
It’s being governed exactly as a late-stage administrative system must.
@TheAliceSmith You mean to tell me that drug addict, middle class, vegetarian, failed art student, anti Semite, wrote a book called “my struggle”, brought in censorship & gun control founded a party with disillusioned communists is actually a socialist?
@WorldByWolf Priorities should gravitate towards your inner circle. Family, friends, community, county, county, continent then the geopolitical. Rupert has his priorities in order from what I can see. If/when he is prime minister or foreign secretary then I might care about these views.
@imPenny2x How about universal income to start with cutting taxes first. The problem with UBI is that it sets the tone that the state provides for you. The state should work for the people.
Restore Britain would establish a truly independent inquiry into the safety, rollout, and long-term effects of the COVID-19 vaccines - especially on young people and those coerced into taking them.
Thousands of people have suffered serious side effects, some permanently. Many have sadly died, one such story of a mother who tragically died at 48 years old is covered in today's Daily Telegraph.
We would overhaul the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, increase payouts, and speed up claims. Proper compensation must be provided to the families of those who lost their lives due to the vaccine.
A Restore Britain government would publish all relevant communications from politicians and 'experts' that led to the mass vaccine rollout and vaccine passports.
Politicians like Reform UK’s Nadhim Zahawi will be forced to appear before an independent inquiry to be questioned on their actions during lockdown.
If they are found to have manipulated evidence to unnecessarily force the vaccines on a healthy population, they will be prosecuted.
Restore Britain will fight for accountability and justice.
@JohnMusumeci7 Reform removes anyone with any competence and Nigel is more concerned about power than he is fulfilling his voter base’s intentions. Restore is the only option now for anyone truly conservative.
