@O2ApolloManc I've been standing in the foyer for an hour (age 66) having paid for a VIP ticket to get in early. Wish I hadn't bothered! Foyer full of pensioners with bad backs because we're not allowed to sit down!
New @90minfilmfest pod! 🕹️ We’re joined by @sebpatrick who picked Seth Gordon’s The King Of Kong (79 mins) back in 2020 and tragically passed away before we could release the ep. Today would’ve been Seb’s 42nd birthday and this is our contribution to #SebPatricksDay ❤️
@frankcottrell_b@BacklistedPod Not happiest, but when my son died 4 years ago we were so comforted by all his followers - even Ed Solomon spoke warmly of him!
@EsheruKwaku@BritLad95 Sick of racists hijacking the memory of WW2 heroes like my father - who was mentioned in dispatches and helped liberate concentration camps - he would be repulsed by these bigots.
@doctor_oxford I had to arrange my son’s funeral after he died on August 2 2020. Only allowed 15 mourners, not allowed to hug each other and we sat outside in our flat’s communal garden afterwards with tea and bacon butties. I’ll never forgive Johnson.
@zarahsultana I am a pensioner and most of my friends are. We own our own homes and some of us have holiday homes too (mine is a static). I can think of so many younger people who need the allowance far more than us.
@thismorning just caught your segment on catching heart disease early; my son died suddenly years , aged 37 from undiagnosed heart disease. If there is a history of heart disease in the family, screening should be available much earlier.
