@USAA
Can you explain why the MVR for my vehicle has a comp with over 2x the mileage of my vehicle (33k vs 73k)?
I’ve been waiting over a month to receive a fair settlement offer and every time a new MVR is sent your adjuster adds something new and creates more issues to fix.
@AmericanAir Unfortunately, apologies are hollow until action is taken.
Adding, “At the agent’s discretion, the uniform requirement may be waived” is not a difficult change to make.
The policy contradicts OPSEC practices. Providing an ID and travel orders should be enough.
This is a story about @AmericanAir and how they treat active duty service members, spoiler, it’s not good.
It may take a bit to get there, but hopefully it is worth the read…

Imagine a soldier, returning deployment, after a long flight from Europe to the east coast, being denied entry to the lounge (at an airport where there may not be a USO accessible) solely because of the clothes they are wearing. That is an affront to all who serve.
Thank you.
So here it is, if you’ve made it this far in the thread, thank you. Please share this so as many people can see what a ridiculous policy American has and hopefully they can amend it. This is not a call for completely open access, but for permission of discretion for attendants.
