How can these refs call a 15 yard penalty on Chicago on a missed block that takes away a touchdown and then not call anything on those 2 hits on Fields? This is just egregious officiating.

How is the defender supposed to know that Trevor Lawrence is going to duck in to this hit? He’s 6’6” and is bracing for the hit. Wade is running full speed trying to tackle someone that is 6” taller than he is. Lawrence wasn’t defenseless. Running backs take this hit every play.

Final thoughts on Officials...Replay official was awful

1) Needed to CONFIRM all elements of targeting...if there is any question he is supposed to leave player in game
2) Call on field was catch and fumble...video was not indisputable and yet still overturned

Now that is just damn ridiculous. Yes, the kid Wade for @OhioStateFB did connect with Lawrence’ helmet. But that was NOT targeting. No way he should’ve been ejected for that plan. The QB lowered his head. That is just an awful call.#AWFUL
