Not so #HappyEngineersDay in Telangana!

A student from a rural village studies hard for four years, gets a good job & his family finally sees hope that their debts will be cleared. But the job slipped away, because the college didn’t release his certificates. Why? Govt hasn’t cleared fee reimbursement dues. The college blocks the student.

This isn’t one case. 14,00,000 students are suffering the same fate because of TG govt’s delay.

Govt of Telangana sat in meetings with college management till late last night. Why not order colleges to release certificates first? What is stopping the govt from protecting students?

Thousands of students with job offers in hand are unable to join as their colleges refuse to give certificates. Reason? The govt hasn’t cleared fee reimbursement dues.

I’ve spoken to many such students in last two days. Their mental state is alarming. These are kids from poor families who worked hard, got jobs, but can’t join because of this mess. Is this not a crime?

Media isn’t giving this enough attention. Govt must act, either ensure colleges release certificates immediately or clear pending dues 🙏🏼

This is life and death for lakhs of poor, educated, deserving students. Don’t play with their future.
