Four years ago, Sony Music Publishing handed me a blank page. Today I close my chapter as Managing Director for Nigeria & West Africa.

What we wrote on that page:

We opened the door - "West Africa" became a starting point rather than a boundary.

We built the Legends Project because the people who wrote the songs that raised us deserve to own and benefit from the songs that raised us.

We signed young writers who are now on records currently following you around on the radio, TV and every playlist you own. 😌

We pulled off one of the biggest writing camps this continent has seen, and we sat in the rooms where policy actually gets made.

To the writers who shaped our history and the ones carrying the baton now — working with you has been the honour of my professional life. Thank you for the trust.

Thank you, Sony Music Publishing for the mandate and for backing the build. To the SMP Nigeria team, it has been a pleasure working with you all.

What's next? Other opportunities and announcements in due course. We'll all just have to wait and see. 👀

There’s a difference btw a Record deal and a License deal. You seem to be mixing things up
