@chrisjsankey So two generations of European jewish settlers with dual citizenship are more indigenous to the land of Palestine than the Palestinians who were born there with no nationality, and whose ancestors lived there for thousands of years… hmm. That’s a no from me.
@MaxFaceSurgery Hi Dr. Lam. I’ve tried to call your office multiple times. I’m trying to find a microsurgeon for trigeminal nerve injuries. Is there someone you can recommend in New York? I know you left Stonybrook, but if you can recommend someone who performs this surgery, I’d be very grateful
No amount of hate speech, racism, dehumanization, falsehood, & Palestine bashing will bring you a minuscule iota of dignity, credibility, or humanity @NikkiHaley.
@Babydoll_009@JustinTrudeau If there’s an only child whose parents live in another country and one parent dies and they need to be with the other parent to grieve/emotional support. Don’t tell them not to travel. They need to. And it’s more important than what the gov. randomly considers as essential work.
@Pagan_Activist_ @JustinTrudeau Exactly. People have to do what they have to do, and what they have to do might involve traveling. A once in a century pandemic doesn’t automatically discredit people’s humanity.
@JustinTrudeau And it would be really nice if people in the comments would stop answering every push back with “if you don’t wanna quarantine, then don’t travel”. That’s very authoritarian and we’re in a democracy. We can’t just be told to do things without questioning their efficacy.
@JustinTrudeau Why is everyone assuming that people are traveling for “vacation”? There’s literally a 1000 reasons people travel including and not limited to: family emergencies, other non-covid related illnesses and essential work. There has to be a way for people to explain why they’re out.
Interesting conversation going on regarding cultural appropriation with regard to food and restaurants in Toronto. Now can we talk about the “Israeli” restaurants in the city?
