Why are Oke-ode nursing students in Ilorin receiving lectures if their institutions isn't close, if security has improved as you claim why are there no plans to take them back to Oke-ode?
Why are we always politicing everything, my brother?
You and I both know the closure was temporary and as at this this morning, there's now where in Kwara state school is closed. This is possible due to the improvement of security in KWARA state presently.
Talking about education itself,
Kwara and the governor has done excellently well in education and has managed the complexities in security well.
For context, the state has won presidential school debate competition four times in a row amongst other exceptional feat.
Let's stay on issues and avoid pettiness. We may be on different sides but we want a Kwara that is progressive.
Cheers.
The speaker is focused on his election to be the next governor while an important constitutional amendment bill has not event reached the hollowed chamber talk more of voting.
Kwara state a state that some part of it has been ravaged by bandits and element of insurgents have not received the state police bill while its neighbors Osun and Oyo have voted and approved it...

Yesterday, we delivered a letter to the President, through the Office of the Chief of Staff, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently assent to the Universal Basic Education (UBE) Act (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
The Bill proposes an increase in UBEC’s share of the Consolidated Revenue Fund from 2% to 5%, potentially providing significantly more resources for basic education across Nigeria.
We also highlighted the need to address the challenges around states’ access to UBEC intervention funds, particularly the counterpart funding requirement that can prevent states with weaker revenue bases from accessing funds meant to address the education crisis.
The letter was acknowledged by the Office of the Chief of Staff on *5 October 2026.
With millions of Nigerian children still out of school*, this is not just about passing a Bill. It is about ensuring that resources meant for basic education can actually reach the children and communities that need them most.
We hope the Presidency will act with urgency and give this Bill the assent it deserves.
Nigeria cannot afford to delay investment in basic education.

⚪️🇭🇷 Why zero minutes and not even warm up for Luka Modrić today?
Ancelotti: “I don't want Modrić to warm-up if I'm not sure that he will play. I respect him too much to do that”.
I've seen some Africans RT this to my TL, and some healthcare workers even write things about the "ABCDEFG... gene".
I want to ask you guys to share with me a compilation of Asians doing this to White people who lack this "gene", or a compilation of White people sharing videos about it. 😀
You guys can't recognise microaggressions, subtle racism; now you can't even recognise overt racism. Maybe you should sit back and assess why your mind's eye tends to ignore prejudice against you, and you try to rationalise it in every way possible 💀
