The Ghana Armed Forces has confirmed that an escort convoy protecting 140 civilians was attacked at Binduri on Monday, 27th April, 2026, while traveling from Bawku to Bolga.

Unfortunately the attack left three(3) civilians dead and one other person injured.

The military successfully repelled the assault, killing seven(7) assailants, arresting ten(10) suspects, and retrieving a G3 rifle, ammunition, and other items during the operation. Authorities have cautioned the public against interfering with security operations.
