Also, one of the top ways private videos or photos get leaked in Ghana is when people take their phones to repair shops. Do this before handing your phone over to a repairer. If you use Android, search for “Maintenance Mode” in Settings and put your phone in that mode before handing it over.

If you use an iPhone, there is already an app on it called “Find My.” Open it, then tap “Devices.” You will see all the devices linked to your account. Now swipe left on the device you want to put into repair mode. I mean, swipe left on the device name and tap the trash/remove icon. A prompt will tell you that the device cannot be removed, but it will ask if you want to prepare it for service. Tap “Continue” and enter your Apple ID password to activate it.
