My best half and I Verified ITR in September 2025. It's been almost 3.5 months now.

It's December final week. Neither my best half nor I have got any intimation nor the ITR is processed 😭 The Income Tax Website says Verified.

Seeing many friends on X who are getting Voluntary Revision Orders and that needs to be completed in less than a week.

Few honest constructive questions on behalf of tax payers and honest filers.

1. Can we assume that if we don't get any intimation until December 31st, our ITRs will be cleanly processed without any issue after that? @IncomeTaxIndia

2. Can The Income Tax website handle the load for revised returns in less than a week?

3. Many people are getting emails in spam and hence what happens to them? They might be honest ones in that also and ones who have made a mistake will be penalized for not checking. Many have gone for vacations also in year end.

4. When 3.5 months was taken for intimation of issues, I sincerely hope you will return the favour by giving tax payers 3.5 months to figure out what went wrong and update accordingly. I am almost 100% sure you will do this, because you care about us, right?

I understand that FM Madam @nsitharaman & INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT will never punish any tax payer and will give adequate time to refile or clarify.
