The exhibition “Raajje” by Ahmed Azmee (Baachy) is currently ongoing at the National Art Gallery, open from 4–14 December, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

Dedicated to his late father, Hassan Haleem the collection draws inspiration from Haleem’s passion for preserving memories. Through intricate drawings portraying the nation’s history and culture, Baachy pays tribute to the people and stories that shaped the Maldives, taking inspiration from old photographs shared by his father.

Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending the award winning artist @baachy2013’s stunning solo art exhibition “Raajje: A Journey Back in Time” at the National Art Gallery in #MaleCity. His amazing artworks pulled me deep into the Maldives’ history, bringing our timeless traditions & culture to life with his skillful artistry.

ރާއްޖެ - ބާޗީގެ ސޯލޯ މައުރަޒު

މައުރަޒުގައި ހުރި ބައެއް ކުރެހުންތަކުގެ ފޮޓޯ ބާޗީ ފޮނުވުމުން ބެލީމެވެ. ރާައްޖޭގެ ކުރީގެ ފޮޓޯތައް ކަޅާ ހުދުގެ ކުރެހުމަށް ގެނައުމަށް ކޮށްފައިވަނީ ވަރަށް ބުރަ މަސައްކަތެކެވެ. ކޮންމެ ކުރެހުމެއްވެސް ތަފްސީލުވެފައި ފުރިހަމައެވެ. މި ވަރުގެ މަސައްކަތެއް ކުރެވޭނީ ވަރަށް ގިނަ ވަގުތު ރިސާޗް އާ ކުރަހަން ހޭދަކޮށްގެނެވެ

މި ފަދަ މަސައްކަތެއް ދިވެހި އާޓިސްޓަކު ކުރުމުން ޝުކުރުއަދާކުރަމެވެ. ކުރެހުމުގެ އިތުރުން ތާރީޚާ ސަގާފަތަށް ބާޗީ ކުރި ހިދުމަތެކެވެ

The art exhibition RAAJJE - A journey back in time by National Award winning artist Ahmed Azmee @baachy2013 is a beautifully comprehensive showcase that transports us into the Maldivian past through his skillful artistry, presenting remarkably historical scenes. Although most of the drawings in this exhibition are based directly on photographs from before my time, as someone who researches and studies Maldivian history and culture, each drawing evokes deeply nostalgic feelings and is aesthetically pleasing to me. Every piece tells numerous stories related to Maldivian history and culture, enriching the knowledge base of many viewers while revealing the historical and cultural wealth of the Maldivian nation.

قام سعادة السفير اليوم بزيارة للمعرض الفني #مكة للرسام المالديفي المشهور/ أحمد عزمي،والذي افتتح برعاية من سفارة #المملكة_العربية_السعودية وشهد المعرض الذي يقام لأول مرة في #المالديف إقبالاً رسمياً وشعبياً واسعاً حيث تعرض فيه لوحات جمالية للرسام عن #الكعبة_المشرفة و #مكة_المكرمة .
