Loving the @syntaxfm but finding it hard to look for particular episode or Sick Picks. Built a custom Syntax Browser via official APIs. https://t.co/WJHjnzUY3W
“I don't even remember how or when it started, but I do remember liking the sound of the phrase ‘graphic design.’” ❤️

#sagmeister said “Complaints are silly. Either act or forget.” I realize I have plenty of unspoken complaints in me while not taking any meaningful action. The world won’t change. People won’t change. I should. What _actions_ do I take now? #notesToSelf
Why are people still arguing about “HTML is/isn’t a programming language” and “CSS is/isn’t a programming language” in 2022? Don’t they have better things to do?
A young adult going through hardships, it's not an uncommon scenario. Suicidal, homicidal tendencies, probably not that rare either. So what. Keep them going? Not intervene? Does that make sense?
I spent two years in ROK Army at a Corp HQ, Commanding General's secretary unit, during which I've seen plenty of confidential reports on violence incidents in the army. Mass shooting attempts, physical assault, grenade suicide, stabbing, electrocution, weird bullying, etc.
Trust me. During my service, I've felt virtually everybody had murderous urges—maybe even justifiably so, due to stress, injustice, forced silence, disconnection from loved ones... What stopped them from mass-killing? Lack of access to guns and ammunitions. Even in the army.
I hope I could be of help to someone like those kind souls have been to me. As a dad, a seasoned (jaded?) professional, an immigrant, who has made plenty of avoidable mistakes, perhaps I could hold someone’s hand while they go through similar challenges.
Throughout my career—and life as an immigrant as a whole—I’ve been tremendously fortunate to have had smart and generous people helping me out. As mentors, friends, leaders, partners, supporters, advisers, servers, and then some. I’m where I am because of them.
They didn’t have to care but they did. Advising, grooming and coaching me. Recommending and referring me. Forgiving and understanding me. Embracing and accepting me. Guiding me and helping me grow personally and professionally. I cannot ever pay them back and they didn’t mind.
Oh, also, to answer @stolinski , all CSS—including type specs—are hand-crafted without using a template. Thank you again for a super kind words and compliments!
@syntaxfm Thanks for the nice review on my website (https://t.co/Z8cFUQtnpA). Fyi, there are a few easter egg items I've hidden throughout the site, like a longer bio, tech colophon, and Konami codes (see attached). Please take a look when you have a moment! A big fan here!
Built a #wordclock with #react#typescript https://t.co/qCkaXqRKkY. In a design role, not getting to write much code if at all. Trying not to get too rusty and wondering what else to build.
