This weekend, I was once again invited to Bauchi to speak to the next generation of leaders in the state, this time around as a Keynote Speaker at the inaugural Fast Forward Conference organized by my brilliant brother, friend, and boss @elbeehalan and Ishaya Levi.

I spoke on the topic “The Future of Leadership, Innovation, and Economic Growth in Nigeria: Building the Next Generation of Transformational Leaders in Bauchi State,” where I shared my journey so far in public service and emphasized the need to understand that spectators will not build Nigeria’s future; it will be built by honest leaders, innovators, builders, and problem-solvers. Our greatest asset, without a doubt, remains our youthful population.

History continues to teach us that every generation has a defining responsibility. Ours is not merely to inherit Nigeria—but to leave an improved version of it for our children to build on.

I also touched on the issue of our generation having unprecedented, instant access to information, which has unfortunately led to various systemic challenges such as information overload, echo chambers, and the illusion of knowledge. Thus, like the famous Ruben Blades quote, “we risk being the most informed society that has ever died of ignorance.”

I finally urged all participants to commit to raising a generation of transformational leaders whose legacy will be measured not by promises made but by lives changed, institutions strengthened, communities transformed, and opportunities created for generations to come.

CONSTRUCTION OF TORQ AGRO’S $10 MILLION INTEGRATED POULTRY FARM & HATCHERY FACILITY IN BATAGARAWA, KATSINA COMMENCES

Yesterday, I was on site to witness the commencement of the construction of TORQ Agro's $10 million large-scale integrated poultry farm and hatchery in Batagarawa, Katsina State.

The 10-hectare project will have a total production flock of 360,810 commercial Layers and 132,600 brooding chicks. This gives a total of 324,729 eggs per day, yielding an annual total of 118,526,085 eggs. TORQ Agro will market their products under the brand name “GoodMan Bros Farms.”

The problem with Kaduna is, there was never local govt elections under Uba Sani. The governor handpicked these local govt chairmen & handed them the seats. They dare not challenge him or the defacto Governor, popular known as "Kafi Gwamna".

This marks a decisive step in boosting egg production, meat production, and fighting nutritional gaps in Katsina. The project will also ensure the state captures the entire value chain within its borders with potentials for exports in the future.

The integrated poultry farm will also generate close to 1,000 direct and indirect jobs for the community, firmly aligning with His Excellency, Governor @dikko_radda��s youth employment agenda.
