How I Would Invest ₦100,000 Monthly in Nigerian Stocks !Halal-Focused only
If I had ₦100,000 monthly to invest in Nigerian stocks while trying to keep it halal, I would focus on businesses involved in real sectors of the economy — manufacturing, telecoms, agriculture, industrials, and energy.
Not financial advice. Always do your own screening.
My monthly allocation would look like this:
✅ Telecom / ICT – ₦20,000
✅ Industrial Goods – ₦25,000
✅ Agriculture – ₦20,000
✅ Energy / Oil & Gas – ₦25,000
✅ Consumer Goods – ₦10,000
Total = ₦100,000
Telecom / ICT (₦20k)
Invest in companies building communication infrastructure and digital services.
Example:
• MTN Nigeria Communications Plc → ₦20,000
Why?
Growing demand for data, digital payments, and connectivity.
Industrial Goods (₦25k)
Examples:
• Dangote Cement Plc → ₦12,500
• BUA Cement Plc → ₦12,500
Why?
Nigeria is still building roads, housing, and infrastructure.
Agriculture (₦20k)
Examples:
• Presco Plc → ₦10,000
• Okomu Oil Palm Plc → ₦10,000
Why?
Agriculture provides exposure to food production and exports.
Energy / Oil & Gas (₦25k)
Examples:
• Seplat Energy Plc → ₦15,000
• Oando Plc → ₦10,000
Why?
Energy remains one of Nigeria’s strongest sectors.
Consumer Goods (₦10k)
Example:
• BUA Foods Plc → ₦10,000
Why?
People continue buying food regardless of market cycles.
Rules I would follow:
• Invest every month consistently
• Reinvest dividends
• Avoid emotional buying/selling
• Hold long term (3–10 years)
• Review yearly, not daily
After 12 months:
₦100,000 × 12 months = ₦1.2 Million invested
Consistency often matters more than trying to perfectly time the market.
Remember:
Halal investing is not only about avoiding banks.
You should also screen for:
❌ Excessive debt
❌ Interest-heavy income
❌ Haram business activities
❌ Unethical practices
Invest with both profit and principles in mind.
@yabaleftonline I noticed most Nigerian are naive in thinking who don't appreciate any good things rather just criticizing at every moment without justification. Ready comments made me sad and see present men lack critical thinking
@SaharaReporters All the officers should be arrested not only one person @PoliceNG@TunjiDisu1
All those in that operation should be dismissed and prosecuted for murder and public disorders and lawlessness and jailed as condemned. This act is unprofessional and it should be discouraged
@woye1@officialABAT@taiwoyedele They should implement new salary since last year to federal workers and pay contractors to allow money to flow in the circulation. This present government has under rated the power of Federal workers. @officialABAT act swiftly and implement all promises made.
As long as those targeted in Jilli market by the NAF airstrike are all confirmed Boko Haram members, their large number should not concern anyone. All terrorists deserve death, miserably.
The United States commends the Nigerian government for its strong commitment to expediting trials addressing terrorism and related crimes. We welcome the convictions of 386 Islamist militants in cases that had previously faced significant delays in the courts, and we recognize this as an important step toward accountability and justice. We believe that timely and transparent legal processes are critical in confronting extremism and reinforcing public trust in judicial institutions. Upholding the rule of law remains essential to ensuring the safety, stability, and long-term security of all Nigerians, and we support continued efforts to strengthen judicial efficiency and fairness across the country.
I want to address a recent claim circulating that I am affiliated with or working for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress.
Let me state this clearly and without ambiguity I am not a member of APC, nor do I work for or represent the party in any capacity.
I returned to Ogun State today with a full heart.
What I saw in Iperu is the kind of progress we must insist on as a nation. Quite deliberate, and built to last.
The Gateway Cargo Airport stands as proof of what is possible when vision is matched with discipline. As I said, “Our investment is about our people. Today’s foundation is for tomorrow’s prosperity.”
I acknowledge Governor Dapo Abiodun @DapoAbiodunCON for his focus and consistency. Development is not about noise. It is about decisions that improve lives.
From the aircraft launched today to the electric bikes, tractors, and security assets, this is what progress should look like. Practical, real, and visible. “Development must touch every level,” and I am pleased to see that principle taking shape in Ogun State.
Our Renewed Hope reforms are not abstract. They have provided more resources for sub-nationals and are creating room for states to act and deliver. Many states, including Ogun, are rising to the moment.
We will stay the course.
“We are building for people, and we are building for prosperity.”
As they say in Ogun, “Ìṣẹ́ yá…”
I say, “Ìṣẹ̀ ń lọ.” The work continues.

@NigeriaStories@IbkSports It should be across d country and total lockdown. Our leaders are daft, we are suffering & @DangoteGroup is moving our oil to other countries. @NigeriaStories There is need to sack all NNPC workers for redundancy @officialABAT . Sell them or on PPP and allow these refinery to work for the masses. Era of pampering should stop. Why recruiting without productivity. Poor leadership.
