BREAKING: Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is hit with more devastating news as Chairman of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Ron Wyden announces that he just “began productive discussions” with his colleagues to slap Republican mega-donor Harlan Crow with a subpoena” to testify over his decades of “extravagant” illegal gifts to Justice Thomas.
Chairman Wyden didn’t mince words, putting Justice Thomas on notice that he and Crow can “stonewall” all they want, but he has “already met with the Finance Committee on next steps to compel answers to our questions from Mr. Crow, including by subpoena, and those discussions will continue.”
This is devastating for Justice Thomas because he had hoped that this scandal will blow over — but instead it is deepening — and now one of the most powerful Senate committees is coming after him and his corrupt benefactor like a laser-guided missile.

Racism: Paul Hornung, QB, Notre Dame, 1956
Hornung got a white pass to Heisman in ‘56 because he was a qb at Notre Dame — even if the Irish went 2-8 that season. Syracuse's Jim Brown, who rushed for more yards (986) and touchdowns (13), finished fifth in that same voting class.
