21Shares Seeks SEC Approval For Spot Polkadot ETF On Cboe BZX

21Shares has submitted an S-1 filing to the SEC for a spot Polkadot ETF, aiming to list on the Cboe BZX Exchange. The 21Shares Polkadot Trust will passively track DOT prices using the CME CF Polkadot-Dollar Reference Rate, with Coinbase Custody as the custodian.

Following the filing, DOT’s price surged 3% to $6.42.

IMO: Move everything else into these 2, the rest are way behind and will drop off as we move to internet 2 in 2025 where 50000 tps minimum is required or users will abandon. Chainlink is dependant on Layer 1 networks and USD pricing base. Once we move to internet 2.0 and network L1 token base (Bitcoin standard), Chainlink is unnecessary and will not appreciate. Ton has security issues. BNB is on the Cosmos SDK, an unmaintained project, it cant innovate. XRP and XLM are propped up by banking rail partners, banks are deprecating so will XRP and XLM. Only Solana and SUI can support cloud and internet 2.0 and the Stable Coin economy. I could be wrong.
