@real_frenchy@Rural_MT_EV Nope
Done many a road trip in our EVs since Dec 2019
including 1000 miles in ~45 minutes longer than would take in an ICE
Only time I've ever taken my truck on a road trip is when it also involves the camper (don't have EV truck...yet)
@Rural_MT_EV Experienced something similar J4 weekend
Only 5m wait, though the RT-1 was there when I pulled in and there when I left w/19m chg
Common courtesy suggests non-tesla drivers would buy extension cord so as to not block 2 chargers, or be more mindful of charging needs
@RelaxedPop@OutofSpecDetail I buy FSD for road trips, and without hesitation let it expire end of month
Day to day driving around a small town it just gets in the way. Its a speed demon (40 in a 25 if you let it) on the side streets, and a blue-hair at intersections
@OutofSpecDetail Mostly agree. BAP is mostly enough as I live in a rural area and so BAP almost equals FSD in that I don't have to do many lane changes.
This month I'm making 1600 miles of extra driving so I got FSD just because I'm driving 5hrs straight
In town though FSD gets in the way
@wholemars BAP does exactly what its supposed to
Stay between the lines, don't rear end things, make you keep your hands on the wheel
It does this very very well
@kdogggniner@philosaresexy@JamesOKeefeIII Do you really believe that they would ever in error overstate a claim devastating to the narrative?
The narrative needs to be "this is much ado about nothing - small insignificant numbers that don't point to a pattern of abuse"
@philosaresexy@JamesOKeefeIII It only seems that way to you because you either a) don’t pay attention, b) want to be willingly lied to, c) only believe what you find convenient, d) all of the above.
@dakpaklak@KevinR4v@bitcoinrenegade@Paul_Reviews Youtube's idea of 'kid friendly content' includes quite a lot of stuff that is most definitely not for kids
Best filter is all content is blacklisted until a parent specifically whitelists it
@Tesla Also, if FSD is disabled - like say my rear camera is blocked because of a bike rack, or sun glare is blinding a camera - at least let me have cruise control (bare minimum) and auto-steer (BAP works fine with the bike rack/blinded camera)
@Tesla Picked it up for a month (high mile month)
Its still trying to get me speeding tickets - never a time when I want to do 10(or more) over, especially in a 25
In town it wants to do 40 in a 25 unless you set it to chill.
BAP's speed setting method is way better.
@Gregory38084480@Lawton_Braves Emulating a warrior culture has significant problems - limits you to a conflict first mindset
Emulation of traditional western culture is more proper as it has broader application to building resilient civilization - embodies warrior culture, philosopher culture, builder culture
@Gregory38084480@Lawton_Braves Had a warrior culture, not have
Sad thing about travel through western states is the reservations
After a century of socialistic practice, don't need a sign to know when you enter a reservation - its obvious. The land didn't change - just the people/culture/governance model
Doing @Tesla superchargers on the air
My QSO streak was in jeopardy so getting on the air in the most quick and dirty way I could while at a charge stop
I prefer CW but we do what we must sometimes and FT8 is a legit mode...
Impressed that I wasn't wiped out with RFI
