you recruit good candidates with a high WAR, you run them in tough races, and allocate resources accordingly
I fail to see how this is uniquely a Democratic problem nor a "2026" problem
@LinkofSunshine not necessarily. you had the nascent TEA Party (and Sarah Palin) beating the drum of fiscal responsibility. there seemed to be a vision to the organisation, even if there were fuckups along the way (vide Delaware)
