@mattwinn Congratulations! It's looking really good ππ
A couple of qs:
1. Once you purchase, what does the backend look like? What can you set in terms of records?
2. Can you transfer the name to other services or must it remain on superlink?
3. Do you profit share with partners?
It's time to take back the Internet... so we just launched @Superlinkme

The best way to view art.diremption/ is with a Handshake resolver like Fingertip ( https://t.co/ILhwGDCA3U ), or a browser like Beacon ( https://t.co/mHxYoQch5G ).
art.diremption/
This digital art (+ the TLD diremption/) are for sale. You'll get the Verisart certificate of authenticity and the domain name diremption/ , and can re-sell the art, or the TLD, or rent SLDs as you wish.
@namesandplaces Yes, that's a fair point. There is definitely an opening at the moment for a decent marketplace, amongst other things. A straight fiat/HNS exchange would be a huge boost too, but that likely runs into complications esp. if you are based in the US.
@namesandplaces @NamebaseHQ My point here is that for someone thinking of competing with NB *now*, they are basically up against Namecheap. Self-custody is always going to be too hassle for the average user, however much we wish it weren't the case.
@namesandplaces You are more optimistic than I am... I think it may be 5 years or longer before we see the token returning to those levels. But of course I hope you are correct! It would be very beneficial for all to have some competition to NB.
@namesandplaces @NamebaseHQ 2) Trust. When offered a choice between a company 51% owned by Namecheap, vs a new startup owned by someone you've never heard of, who are you more likely to trust your names and HNS with?
@namesandplaces @NamebaseHQ At least a couple of possible answers to this. 1) Money. NB's fees are so low that I doubt they are making much of a profit, if any. Competitors would have to charge more to remain solvent, if their teams were of a size necessary for a decent operation.
