The WNBA just admitted that its own social-media department published a post depicting two players wagering on a league game... despite those players receiving annual training on policies prohibiting exactly that conduct.
Then the league deleted the evidence, called it “lighthearted,” and handled everything “internally.”
We grew up watching hand-drawn Disney, and now it's gone. We don't talk about this enough.
Most people have no idea what level of work went into these films...
To draw one cathedral, Disney's artists went and spent days inside the real one, climbing through the passageways and towers of Notre-Dame with a historian, so that a cartoon would get the stones right.
That was for The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1996. The team made more than one trip to Paris, and the film was the first made at Disney's new animation studio in the city, a collaboration between American artists and Parisian ones led by the brothers Paul and Gaëtan Brizzi.
This is the thread that runs through Disney's Paris: the city keeps pulling the studio back. The Aristocats, in 1970, is a valentine to an older Paris of grand apartments and rooftop cats, though the animators packed the skyline so tightly that Notre-Dame ends up standing almost next to the Eiffel Tower.
It will never cease to amaze me: every single frame of the old Disney movies was put down by a human hand. Today everything chases realism, and somehow, the more real it looks, the less alive it feels…
If history is any indication, the WNBA should already be preparing to suspend Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers immediately while it conducts a full investigation.
We now have a video admission... and separate footage appearing to show cash changing hands over a wager involving their own game.
Historically, conduct of this nature has resulted in an immediate suspension for the remainder of the season, followed by a one-year ban.
Calvin Ridley suffered a similar fate when the NFL suspended him for an entire season, costing him his $11.1 million salary for that year. His conduct was arguably less severe because he was not active on his team’s roster when the gambling occurred and did not participate in the games involved.
So the WNBA has a very simple choice:
Enforce the integrity standards applied throughout professional sports... or explain why its preferred stars are somehow exempt.
The league cannot protect its way out of this one.
Pete Rose was one of the greatest players to ever play Major League Baseball.
He is the all time hits leader with 4,256.
Rose was banned from MLB for life for betting on games, including those he played in.
He died at 83 without ever being reinstated or inducted into the hall of fame.
Angel Reese just admitted to doing the exact same thing.
But, instead of giving her a Rose-style punishment, the WNBA scrubbed evidence from the internet and downplayed the seriousness.
Why is Angel Reese being given a free pass by the woke WNBA?
WNBA stars Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese will not face any punishment after a since-deleted social media post showed the two discussing a friendly wager prior to their teams' matchup on Wednesday, a league source told ESPN.

I can’t wait to see all the mental gymnastics that will be used to explain how two WNBA players who bet on a game they were playing in is not deserving of the same treatment of the countless male athletes who have been banned for the same offense
I’ve spent the last 4 hours personally reviewing the non-juror records for Philadelphia County, PA.
Can report to you that from 1/1/2026 - 7/30/2026,
6,944 non-citizens have received jury summons.
We have already recorded 1,000 of the 6,944 non-citizens.
Nothing will stop us from fighting for transparency in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
We are literally breaking news — this hasn’t been done before.
