I think people oversimplify both Bruce and Babs' relationships with Cass. I'd argue that both of them, at the start of bg2000, project themselves onto Cass to Cass' detriment/ignoring what Cass wants. They both lean too far into one direction, Bruce w/vigilantism and Babs

I think it's interesting when it comes to Barbara because Barbara was retired prior to the Joker shooting her. She was a 'normal girl' and living a normal life. And then that's taken away

@almoussalmon Understandable. I haven't read bg2009 (hence why I asked) but prior to it, Barbara didn't seem to have any issues w/Steph that I can remember (she even let Steph know her civilian identity unlike Bruce), so I get why this would've added to that now.
