First of all, what exactly does France want to be free from? Does it feel it has lost its freedom in the AES countries of Mali 🇲🇱, Niger 🇳🇪, and Burkina Faso 🇧🇫?

Freedom to exploit African minerals? Freedom to influence African governments through political proxies? Freedom to build its own prosperity while Africans bear the cost?

France must understand that Africa has moved beyond the politics of intimidation and nuclear sabre-rattling. This is not the 1900s. This is an era in which Africans are increasingly demanding sovereignty, control over their resources, and the right to determine their own future.

No country should expect Africa to remain intimidated by its military power or political rhetoric. And if France believes that Africa's growing independence threatens its interests, it must learn to live with that reality.

The world does not need nations to fear one another. It needs nations to respect one another.

Freedom built on the fear of others is not true freedom. And sovereignty is not a privilege granted by powerful nations; it is a right every nation deserves.
