Dear @rpobhubaneswar, I visited PSK Bhubaneswar on 23 Feb 2026. The officer said the edit option for my passport application (ARN: 26-1051158461) would be enabled after 4 PM, but it is still not enabled. I already emailed Passport Seva and received no reply. Please enable it.

In India, this whole digital Passport Seva system is a farce. You can’t get things done without paying three times the amount to an agent because the staff and the portal are designed in a way that loopholes push you towards hiring an agent to complete the process.

In my case, I arrived on time with all the necessary documents that were asked for online when I filled out the passport renewal form. The biggest loophole is that the system doesn’t even ask you to carry a marriage certificate if your marital status has changed.

The Passport Seva office in Ludhiana asked me to come back the next day with Annexure-J, between 9 and 11 AM (27th May).

When I returned today with Annexure-J, they falsely claimed that they had asked me to stay yesterday and were calling me for the token, but I had left. Now I need to reapply online and pay the fee again. Two half days wasted for nothing. The staff was rude and unhelpful (counter 3), and there’s absolutely no chance you can get things done smoothly without an agent.

Some things in India will never change, no matter how hard the authorities try, because the genuine intent to help end customers and respect their time is completely missing.
