The court suggested the counsel wd the apl for no valid grounds or face bad precedent. Major part of the LC decision favor the Counsel so he obliged sharply😅

I attended an AGM and when a resolution was proposed to re-elect a NED, I was the only one who voted against. The registrar read the results and said "one shareholder with 2 units voted against." I almost went under the table. 🙂

I remember handling a matter where, after the prosecution closed their case, I opted for a No Case Submission on behalf of the Defendant, but it was overruled.

On the next date slated for the defence, the Defendant jumped bail. The prosecution's attempts to arrest him proved abortive, and the Court made an order to try him in absentia.

Faced with this situation, I decided to rest the Defendant’s case on the case of the prosecution. To my surprise, the Defendant was discharged and acquitted.

Till this moment, I have not informed the Defendant that the Court discharged and acquitted him in his absence. He is still living in hiding, believing that the Court is looking for him.

Yes, it is my own way of punishing him.😏
