I am a victim of sexual assault who doesn’t take accusations lightly. This anger comes from that space more than anything.

A man of power, pushing your hand on his penis, saying things like “you have a reputation to remember” is intimidation.

@KFunksports @MosaicMomma_JK @nytimes I know. I was turned off to the NFL years ago by boyfriends who claimed every single player every accused of sexual assault was being lied about by women for money. It makes me sick. I was sexually assaulted and was afraid no one would believe me. This is why.

Maybe they should require someone representing their profession to have a clean record, or you know, not let people who commit sexual assault work for them.

His complete denial of having a problem, dismissal of the facts as nbd vs. unusual were so gross. NFL is like “That’s my boi, any football ?’s.”

@germandawgpound @itsaleafblower @nytimes Some women who the reporter interviewed (and were NOT pressing charges) still consider themselves victims of sexual assault. They remained unnamed, and aren’t suing, and felt sick and guilty over being pressured into performing a sex act by a man in power.
