@RuiterWrongFAN@kalynkahler@RuiterWrongFAN also interesting, albeit deeeply presumptive and lacking context. B- for Monken on a disappointing year. Would be intesting to do a deep dive on how these score cards play out for coordinator -> head coach.
I’ve sold myself on Monken. #Browns
A thread…
1. He’s the high floor play.
You have an elite defense whose window is about 2 more years.
Your offense will have 9 starters with 3 years or less experience during that same window.
4) If you wanted Harbaugh here, keep in mind that John wouldn’t fire Monken, and the owner fired both over it. Monken would be announced as the giants OC today if he didn’t get the Browns job.
3. The rams or jags guy are a high ceiling play, but also, similar to when the brown’s interviewed kevin the first time, not enough information to make a decision now. Too much risk.
2) Get a guy who can staff coaches with experience and develop players, not one who is bringing in a staff to develop/help them learn how to be a head coach
@chrisronayne I was neutral on my sentiment towards moving the Browns out of downtown Cleveland, but these renderings solidify the case for me that the Brook Park plans are what’s best. This is neither exciting or practical. Develop a mixed use green space on the lake to be enjoyed by all.
Surprise!!! We're giving away one more playoff prize box to celebrate Wild Card weekend!
