OpenAI post on how they do #WebRTC - https://t.co/qCqhRSyHCn
Thank you OpenAI for publishing that they use Pion. I just my work to have purpose, knowing that people use my code means so much. It brings a lot of energy/new people into the community also.
Unmute turns a text LLM into a voice AI. At https://t.co/CpQTspIv0Q, it’s @MistralAI's Mistral-Small-3.2-24B, making it fully open-source. Play a quiz game with a snarky host, catch up on tech news, or just hang out and talk. Or modify it to do anything you want!
@TheGregYang@elonmusk Be more succinct. Grok 3 output is great but it tends to flood you with content. Be more consistent, sonnet 4 is the guiding light for me in this regard, it's extremely consistent.
And maybe music generation 🧡
A major blocker to free and open source multimedia is @isostandards.
ISO standards are behind an expensive paywall, making them impossible to access for volunteer developers in FFmpeg, or anyone wanting to learn about multimedia technology
Pion #WebRTC v4.0.0 is here. I am so grateful for the work everyone has put into it. https://t.co/2jHKosn0L4
* Distinct SSRCes are fully supported for retransmissions
* DTLS Close (immediate hangups)
* SCTP Zero Checksum
* Censorship Circumvention
* WHIP/WHEP examples
Pion DTLS v3.0.0 has been released[0]! Connection ID support and handshake hooks.
CIDs allow for devices to shut down/disconnect from the network. Even if devices get a new IP they can continue to use a DTLS session.
The censorship circumvention is especially fascinating [1]
I am working on adding native co-streaming/conferencing to OBS. What features are important to you? https://t.co/pEyX0h9wPH
I hope to get lots of input and get this done right the first time!
https://t.co/dEq9P1l11x gives you detailed stats on how WebRTC infrastructure is performing. This is the most important/useful/valuable thing for #WebRTC in a while!
Frustrating when users are misled with anecdotes/sales tactics when picking a WebRTC provider.

He added a JitterBuffer to Pion https://t.co/7lXeL1ZJ3g this new implementation uses dramatically less memory then the SampleBuilder we had. It can be used as a 'interceptor' or directly as a library.
The latest version of Chrome isn't include `a=msid`. Does anyone know if this was a planned deprecation/have a crbug? This is impacting Pion users who demux/process off of these values.

Bluesky is built to give users control over their social spaces online.
Today, we’re open sourcing Ozone, a tool that lets users collaboratively inspect and label content on the network.
Later this week, we’re opening up the ability for users to run their own independent moderation services.

Eric isn't just a coder. He talks to users/fixes/merges and cuts release. It feels great working with someone that gets stuff done so well.
