Last to dance: Julia/Ezra-contemporary. In memory of Heath Ledger oh that’s why they’re going last. Her extensions (both leg and arm) are wonderful! Come on, penché! Something was missing for me unfortunately. It’s like I could see her thinking the steps (prob bc she’s putting so much pressure on herself to do well, esp this week). 8s

Next is Tyler/Sharna-contemporary. Got the fog out to hide Tyler’s lack of pointed feet. And his gf Tate can dance really well! Did they just announce a pregnancy live mid-dance?! That was wild. #dwts 9s!

Now is Connor/Riley-v. waltz. His frame looks better! And he’s on time this week! Don’t let that right arm sag! Tuck your vutt under so there’s less gapping between you and Riley! I suspect he’ll get 7s or 8s.

Next up is Harry/Jenna-foxtrot. Nice rise and fall, nice lines, even saw some heel leads in there! The side by side section was perfectly in sync. Great week for Harry! 9s.

Jenna/Alan-v. waltz. It’s very pretty. That spin with her leg in a split was wild! Would like a touch less attack (she’s gotten that note before), but overall they look like 2 pros out there. 10! #dwts

Next is Jackson/Emma-quickstep dedicated to his mom. His ability to perform vs just getting through a dance has grown EXPONENTIALLY!! This is easily his best dance. Well done Emma that choreo was amazing! 8s. #dwts

Sidenote: is it not feeling a bit weird that EVERYONE is incorporating their dedicatee into their dance? It’s so odd that #dwts ditched Trios but are letting the contestants dance with someone close to them who also has zero dance experience?

Next up: Maura/Mark-paso Doble. Marks easing her way out of frame week by week lol. Gotta love a strategizer (pick all 5 standards for 1st 5 weeks, then 5 weeks of Latin)

Her first time out of frame and wow that intro was…not good. Clomping around the ballroom not the way to Paso babe! Cool they added step dancing at the end for her heritage. I didn’t love it and some issues so I’d give 7s

Next is Tatyana/Jan-v. Waltz honouring her tv dad from Fresh Prince. (Oh the irony with the bts stuff this week) could do with more finished arms (she tends to throw them away at the end). Her acting/facials is spectacular tho. She performed the hell outta that. 7 or 8.

First up, Ezra/Dani-contemporary. This will be 🔥. Ummm why is his mom IN this routine? Feels like show mom wanted another 30 seconds. But now I’m into it, they’re doing amazing per usual, side by side section totally in sync, and incredible lifts and movement quality from E. I’d say strong 8-the mom took me in and out of it sorry! #dwts

That time of the week again - gonna be a spicy #dwts - it’s Dedication night, Jenna D is dancing w ALAN this week, Val is SUSPENDED for making an off-color social media remark about one of the judges insinuating they deserved violence, and will any of it be mentioned?? Hell nah.

I get one step further. I get interviews. I get hired. But nothing seems to last - 2 months here, 5 months there, 3 months - and always “terminated without cause” and refuse to say anything about what I did wrong or could’ve improved (and no warnings beforehand, my #s were good) - am I really that unlikable or is “terminated without cause” corporate speak for something??
