We're not condoning abusing this bug in any way, but we're also not sure how Valve will rectify this issue. Our intent is to keep you informed, in case you're wondering why prices have fluctuated.

Attn: certain TF2 crates currently have a 100% unbox rate for Unusual items. This has had a massive impact on the crate and Unusual item market. Please, be aware and take care when trading.

Steam account hijackers are stealing a lot of accounts recently. The scams and links mostly come from trusted friends, not strangers.

Be careful! Scammers know you're more likely to trust a friend you know when it comes to their links and "pending report" fake admin scams.

PSA: Important thread to read to make yourself aware of hijacking risk and current scam techniques:

Hey the game's still not dead huh

[SteamRep @SteamRep]

Scammers are still publishing fake games to create fake items. Continue looking closely at items you're offered in trades. https://t.co/JOQJqpEBp2

[SteamRep @SteamRep]

There is no such thing as a "pending" ban. If your Steam account is getting banned, it will happen immediately. Anyone threatening you with such a ban, or claiming to be a Steam admin, is a scammer trying to scare or extort you. Read more: https://t.co/Qtwz71weUR

@lowkeylift no

[backpack.tf @backpacktf]

@_DragonBallZeke It's a little tricky. One real problem is that Valve do more than just rate limit per key; they will also rate limit on a per-IP basis.

[backpack.tf @backpacktf]

@_DragonBallZeke We're aware of it. It means we're being throttled by Valve, so we're working on doing something about it.
