Currently Parma going into next season have (playing a 3Back)
Ndiaye
Valenti
Del Prato
Valeri
Trolio
circati
I would argue Varali is already good enough to compete for a rotation spot with half these guys
Ludovico Varali with a top-class performance against Spain U17.
The Italian centre-back was everywhere.
Always very confident in defensive situations. Doesn’t shy away from duels, doesn’t hesitate to engage, and looks comfortable matching up against strong 1v1 opponents.
Very proactive defender.
Strong anticipation skills. Consistently reads attacking intentions early, steps into passing lanes and wins possession before danger can fully develop. A lot of his defensive work comes from intelligence rather than simply reacting to situations.
Also showed his ability to contribute in possession. Comfortable carrying the ball out from the back to progress play and help his team bypass pressure. Technically clean and composed when building from deep.
At 6’2”, he combines good physical tools with mobility and defensive awareness, which is always an attractive mix in modern centre-backs.
Italian-Kenyan, 17 years old, currently playing for Parma U20.
A very interesting profile with strong foundations.
Definitely one to keep an eye on over the next few years.
@Blxncx_4 Such a strange profile. Still young and naive with decision making. Decent shot stopper
For the Azzurri an abundance of these prospects already
Fantastic prospect. One of the best Italian CB prospects I’ve seen in awhile
What a shame it’ll be in four years from now when he’s on his Serie B journey seeing 25% of the total minutes for Bari

Andrea Donato (17, 🇮🇹)
Has been one of the best and most consistent players at U17 Championships.
Going under the radar a bit because he’s a CB & not a Forward.
The Inter youth player hasn’t put a foot wrong, defensively been outstanding. Chipped in with the odd Goal too! 💎
Good player. Too bad that “map” involves two loan spells at Modena and Pisa followed by a loan+obligation season with Genoa where he will play majority of his senior football
The blueprint to Italian football development in a nutshell
❗️🇮🇹 Juventus have no intention of letting Giacomo Faticanti go. Following an excellent season with the Next Gen, the 21-year-old has earned a call-up to the experimental Italy senior squad. The Bianconeri have mapped out his future, and the player will be part of it. The doors to the first team could open for him, with Luciano Spalletti potentially bringing him into pre-season training to assess him. Faticanti is one of the brightest talents in Juventus’ youth teams.
The Bianconeri are ready to exercise their option to sign him on a permanent basis. Faticanti is owned by Lecce and the transfer fee will be €1 million. Giacomo will then sign a three-year contract until 30 June 2029, with an option for a further season.

📰 Gazzetta dello Sport: En défense, Chiarodia est le plus rassurant. Bartesaghi fait son travail, tandis que Favasuli souffre. Comuzzo doit parfois employer la manière forte pour contenir Sinani.
@TonyBorean@XtraAzzurri@Azzurri@FIGC Fini didn’t put a single good foot forward. Atrocious player
Fortini benefit of the doubt. Glimpse of good runs but a lot of errors. Same with Koleosho who knows and capable of winning 1on1s but man oh man he ran into trouble too many times
@Italy_Focus Pretty clear some players are worth keeping an eye on and some that won’t make it past the u21/Serie B level
For me the clear ones today were:
Pio
Pisilli
chiardora
Bartesaghi
Guys that we shouldn’t see anymore:
Fini
Koleosho
Fortini
Favasuli
@TweeterCalcio This is the most senior football Favasuli will see. The future is Palestra and Kayode
Think there is a decent player in Cherubini. Koleosho needs to smarten up. He’s got raw talent but runs into his own problems
