My grandma passed recently. She was wealthy in family, not in material. I asked if anyone could find this in her home. I’m sure she’d never throw it away. It’s a piece of the Berlin Wall … my Aunt and cousins were stationed in Germany when it fell and they brought home pieces. As Indiana Jones would say, “It belongs in a museum!” … I’ll take care of it for now

You say that you are talking about basketball, but it doesn’t feel like it. You are not articulating any details about basketball. You are only talking about the color of a players skin.

As a general sports fan, fan of science and discovery, there are endless stories about how someone told someone that they could never achieve something because of the superficial aspects of their skin color or gender. That they strived to achieve because they were told it could never happen (for those superficial reasons).

Stephen A Smith is now one of those people.

It’s not the same fly. You can look up invasive fruit flies, like the Mediterranean fruit fly.

They are producing 300 million per week … that’s a big deal.

Screwworm flies are a terrible pest. Here is a brief overview:

“The New World screwworm fly (Cochliomyia hominivorax) is an invasive species known for laying eggs in the open wounds of warm-blooded animals, including livestock and humans, where the larvae feed on living tissue. This fly poses a significant threat to animal health and agriculture, particularly in regions where it has re-emerged, such as parts of Central America and Mexico.”

These can establish in local livestock and wildlife, then occasionally move to people. The fly grows and develops under the animal’s skin, then emerges to continue its life cycle.

I haven’t been on x much lately. I’m struggling to get my feed current. Every time I try to refresh, my feed is headlined by an Elon Musk tweet from 1 day ago. Every time. It won’t get to current. All the other tweets below it are 4 hours to 1 day ago. wtf? How do I fix this?
