After four min wage internships, including at PW, I was hired in Sept 2019 as the sole editorial assistant of PW’s children’s dept for $32.5k. Hesitated before accepting, but boss insisted that it was industry standard (it’s not) and I’d get a raise in six months (still haven’t).
