Two Sides of Marin's Sad Injury:
Today, 🇪🇸Spain's Carolina Marin broke into tears after an injury forced her to quit the semifinal of the Olympics. I wish her a speedy recovery!
But, at 2016 Rio Olympics, she criticized 🇨🇳Li Xuerui for using a "feigned injury" as a tactic to affect her performance after Li was severely injured in the semi-final.
Although she apologized after realizing the seriousness of Li’s injury afterward, the Internet never forgets, especially since today Marin suffered the same injury, at the same semi-final.
Today, when the retired Li Xuerui learned of Marin's injury, she broke into tears on live TV.
I’m not inciting hatred here. We should have more love and friendship at the Olympics, not hatred and attack.

“Her reactions need massive improvement, she’s not responding quickly. And shot selection is very poor," says PV Sindhu's coach Vimal Kumar.

@ankhitweets@BadmintonJust Prannoy bhai ye BWF ko bolo. Fucked up calendar banaya hai. So many top players are injured and have withdrawn from big tournaments! Plus WTF has worst qualification criteria where faltu players outside Top 10 Rankings are qualified on basis of tournament count.
Great day for Indian WS!
PV Sindhu is back in Top 10 BWF World Rankings after whooping 30 weeks.
Best luck for your comeback stint into top 8 next. @pvs
