Dear @SecRollins: You keep getting fact checked for your lies. It’s your Administration that cut the Screwworm programs.
Also, the life cycle of a Screwworm is 14 to 54 days. The trump Administration has been in office over 500 days.
If you can’t stop lying, you need to resign.
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Republicans just BLOCKED Sen. Richard Blumenthal's attempt to get Veterans their retirement pay WITHOUT cutting disability benefits. Republicans will write blank checks to the military, then penny pinch when it's time to support our Vets.
This isn't complicated.
A federal criminal investigation needs to be launched to investigate if Elon Musk lied on his citizenship application in the 1990s. We know he was an illegal alien when he applied.
If he did lie, he must be deported from the U.S. and never allowed back.
Let’s zoom out and look at what the climate movement is actually asking of us.
They’re asking us to dismantle the fossil fuel energy system that has produced the greatest abundance in human history. Because of a byproduct called CO2—a plant food that NASA satellites show has contributed to 50% more green cover across the globe.
All because of a fear that extreme weather like droughts, hurricanes, and flooding will get worse, sea-levels will rise steeply, and crops will suffer. But the empirical data from the last 40 years shows none of that is actually happening. Crop yields are at record highs, extreme weather shows no change, and sea-level is rising at a steady 3mm/year.
Still, the argument goes, maybe someday in the future things could get worse. So we need to spend trillions transitioning off reliable, abundant, energy-dense fossil fuels onto unreliable, land-hungry technologies like solar and wind.
We have to do this with taxpayer money. Not because voters chose it—but because governments are mandating it.
And here’s the kicker: it won’t even work. The countries adopting net-zero goals represent a fraction of global emissions. China and India are still developing fossil fuels as fast as they can—and cheap energy is pulling our manufacturing straight to them. Every country that guts its fossil fuel infrastructure will make itself poorer, hollow out its industrial base, and kill jobs—while global emissions keep rising.
Oh, and because solar and wind are intermittent, we still need backup gas and oil infrastructure on standby for when the wind stops blowing or the sun stops shining. So we’re paying for both systems.
And nuclear—the most energy-dense, reliable, zero-emission power source we have—is also off the table.
Did I get that right?
I’m always happy to have respectful conversations about vaccines. But it is difficult when people don’t know or won’t acknowledge the facts. The countries with the highest life expectancies – far higher than the United States – have more recommended vaccines and higher uptake.👇🏽
@BabyD1111229 Let's not be naive. It happened because MSFT has a CEO and Board that believes it's important. It shouldn't be that fragile. Boards and CEO's change often.
Russia’s mask-off moment from one of the Kremlin's favorite talking heads.
You've got to love the accidental honesty here. This is Andrei Bezrukov, a former SVR sleeper agent turned loyal media pundit, flat-out admitting what the entire "special military operation" was actually about.
Andrei Bezrukov: “They won't calm down until we win the war.”
Interviewer: “And how do we win the war?”
Andrei Bezrukov: “Well, we have to fight. That's it. Meaning... Yesterday the president... yesterday the president said: "Keep working, brothers." We will work.”
Interviewer: “So you believe that, only through war, and by no diplomatic means...”
Andrei Bezrukov: “Diplomacy isn't working. They don't want to negotiate with us. We are a bone in their throat. We are changing their system, where they lived well. Why do they need us? They want to kill us.”
Just look at the timing. They are completely ignoring the fact that President Zelenskyy has repeatedly put out open letters and proposals to sit down at the negotiating table with putin. Instead, Bezrukov just dismisses diplomacy entirely because the Kremlin has zero interest in peace.
But the absolute peak irony is when he says:
“We are a bone in their throat. We are changing their system, where they lived well. Why do they need us? They want to kill us."*
Honestly, this says it all. For years, the official line from the Kremlin was that they were launching this invasion to "liberate" the Ukrainian people from some imaginary oppression. But here he is, slipping up and admitting the truth: “the Ukrainians were living perfectly well”.
Why would you need to "liberate" a population that you acknowledge was doing just fine under their own system?
It’s a total admission of guilt. They know exactly what they’re doing.
They don't want to liberate anyone, they want to destroy a successful, independent system right on their border because its mere existence threatens their own.
They know full well that Ukrainians will fight to the bitter end to defend their freedom, and because the Kremlin can't control it, they just want to crush the whole country.
The US attorney for the central district of California going on Glenn Beck's show to promise that there will be election fraud charges in the next couple months and then asking the listeners to help him collect evidence is a new look for the department.
Trump says voter fraud should land people in prison.
Agreed. And let's start with the politicians spreading election lies with the goal of illegally interfering with counting ballots.
In California, I just signed a law making that punishable with up to 3 years behind bars.
More to come. FAFO, Donald.
@Lacertko I think there is some inevitability to that. Very few people will be increasingly convinced it's a hoax, unless the FF industry increases it's spending on disinfo. But each extreme weather event probably produces a few more adherents.
You cited NASA satellites, so let's hold you to them. That same altimetry record shows sea level rise isn't "steady 3mm/year." The rate has roughly doubled, from about 2.1mm/year in 1993 to about 4.5mm/year now, and the acceleration is measured, not projected. When your own source contradicts your headline claim, the rest of the thread answers itself.
@EliotJacobson Hey, for fun, since you're in coastal zone, look how far off the day-ahead forecast is vs actual. I'm north of you and there's a big (like 80%) cool bias. I think the models can't handle the mhw
“A fire-breathing dragon lives in my garage.” Suppose I seriously make such an assertion to you. Surely you’d want to check it out, see for yourself. . . I lead you to my garage. You look inside and see a ladder, empty paint cans, an old tricycle—but no dragon.
“Where’s the dragon?” you ask. “Oh, she’s right here,” I reply, waving vaguely.
“I neglected to mention that she’s an invisible dragon.” You propose spreading flour on the floor of the garage to capture the dragon’s footprints. “Good idea,” I say, “but this dragon floats in the air.”
Then you’ll use an infrared sensor to detect the invisible fire. “Good idea, but the invisible fire is also heatless.”
You’ll spray-paint the dragon and make her visible. “Good idea, but she’s an incorporeal dragon and the paint won’t stick.” . . . Now, what is the difference between an invisible, incorporeal, floating dragon who spits heatless fire and no dragon at all?
If there’s no way to disprove my contention, no conceivable experiment that would count against it, what does it mean to say that my dragon exists? Your inability to invalidate my hypothesis is not at all the same thing as proving it true.”

🚨 HUMILIATION AT THE WORLD CUP: SENEGAL STARS TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS BY US BORDER THUGS
Senegal 🇸🇳 national team arrives in the US for #WorldCup2026 — and what do they get?
US authorities pulling them off the plane for aggressive bag searches, invasive checks, and public degradation right on the tarmac. Top African football giants disrespected like suspects.
This is not "security." This is racist arrogance from the host nation that lectures the world on fairness while treating African players like second-class humans.
Same America blocking referees, humiliating teams, and showing its true face to the Global South.
Senegal, Africa is with you. CAF and FIFA — speak up or remain useless puppets.
The World Cup belongs to the world, not to US ego and discrimination.
Expose this disgrace. Share widely.
NEWSFLASH: SOMEWHAT INTELLIGENT. LMAO!
Hannity to Koppel: "Do you think we're bad for America?"
Koppel: "Yeah."
Hannity tried to gaslight him. Koppel wasn't having it. Hannity's desperate pivot: "We have to give the American people some credit that they're somewhat intelligent..."
Koppel stares, bottom lip drops. You could see every Fox lie from the last 12 years flashing behind his eyes—his face screaming, "They absolutely do not know the difference."
Let's give Sean the benefit of the doubt: his viewers are somewhat intelligent—his words, not mine.
I'm just the messenger.
Yes, aluminium is fungible: even if alumina doesn’t become a specific missile part, it may still free up other aluminium for weapons.
But Irish politicians keep saying sanctions aren’t needed because there’s no evidence of a direct link to weapons. That’s why I’m testing it
I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
🚨🚨EU Commission declines to deny plans that Alumina may end up in the next EU Sanctions Package!
This is big, fellas. If they are not denying it, it means it is being considered.
We are on the cusp of a major NAFO win. #Alumina21
