I worked on some graphics for THERMOCLINE, which will be premiering in a few hours on the Indie Quest showcase livestream! If you're into scairey RPG maker horror, tune in at 5pm PST. https://t.co/tMAEgiYRvj
@compostpools i rlly don't know why it exists at all but it doesn't hurt that it does, the og version is still there.
i would've preferred if they just went all the way and made it even more different so it doesn't feel like a less good version of a great album. that would've been cooler
Surprise: The THERMOCLINE trailer will premier tomorrow during the Indie Quest showcase (4:55 PST).
L1nk is in the replies to watch. See you there...

The criticism about mixtape “not really being a game” gives it too much credit, that wouldn’t bother me if the writing was any good. Lines like “im ready to ride the flaming stallion of delinquency” are something only a 37 year old says.
i know there's plenty of moments with player input, i don't wish to misrepresent the game. the promo levels for this game are suspiciously large for a game like this though, i wonder what's going on....
the only odd thing about the game are the moments where player input is completely inconsequential. even basic interactivity is a must. otherwise, the player's connection to the game is severed & it becomes a movie, which isnt bad at all, but it should be regarded as one
@aajshanibar@MaxBlazeCky@NarcisoFur@msnofficial_on i haven;t ever done direct wired transfers so that sounds like something the should improve on. apple really loves their proprietary filing systems for some reason
@MaxBlazeCky@NarcisoFur@msnofficial_on i just use the cloud folder & google drive to move files, ive never really ran into any walls trying to do anything normal.
android offers more flexibility, but it's restricting more each year, and stability/reliability isn't rlly improving to make up for that.
@NarcisoFur@msnofficial_on I know, I spent a few days trying to do so, but my specific phone model blocked all my attempts & my computer refused to recognize it properly lol. iOS lets you delete everything except for the camera, settings & store app. the only thing i miss about android is youtube vanced
@msnofficial_on i wasn't a fan of having to update my photos app and camera app every 10 days. it would be nice if there was an android variant that was hardware optimized and clean. if the "it just works" experience can be done on android i'd love to see that
@msnofficial_on android really used to be better, but now iOS has caught up to it, but it also functions 50x better on hardware since its actually optimized for it. on android now, you get 5% more freedom, an unoptimized OS, bloatware & you can't delete facebook or google
If you find yourself in Sacramento this weekend, don't miss the chance to swing by and try out THERMOCLINE at the Capital Creative Showcase! I would love to meet you.

@himbo_chico the weird gender association with "diet" is entirely coke's fault tho. they were really loudly targeting women hard with diet soda marketing in the early days, and the cultural effect is still lasting. still glad it exists tho, i think the flavor of diet coke sucks
@bellbearinghunt yeah there really are only 2 or 3 good-looking spots where there was a hand-crafted view.
the rest of the game looks pretty terrible, because they originally relied on a much better lighting engine that was later removed, so 80% of the game looks flat & PS2 without it
