In 1980, the XFC-130H was turned into one of the wildest aircraft ever tested packing 30 rocket motors to make a heavily modified C-130 capable of extreme short-field operations.

It had MK-56 boosters for takeoff, Shrike rockets for descent and ASROC rockets for braking
The plan was to land inside Tehran’s Amjadieh Stadium, extract the American hostages, and get out.
The footage shows the insane part: rockets firing as the Hercules accelerates like a fighter jet, surrounded by smoke and flames.

The mission was ultimately canceled but the engineering experiment was REAL.

A young elephant that became entangled in a charging-station cable in China’s Pu’er prefecture was protected by its mother.

A family of wild elephants wandered onto an electric-vehicle charging site during the night.

One curious calf approached a charging unit too closely and became caught in the cable. Although the animal managed to free itself, the mother immediately struck the device with her trunk and overturned it.

The herd then continued its journey at a leisurely pace.

IRAN THREATENS 15,000-KM MISSILE RANGE

Senior Iranian cleric Abdolnabi Mousavifard said Iran is preparing to extend its missile range to 15,000 km (9,300 miles), potentially reaching deep into the United States.

“We are preparing ourselves so that the American people, too, will see what it is like to be hit by missiles and understand what it means to be left in blood and destruction,” he said.

Mousavifard also claimed Iranian missiles can already reach “deep into Jerusalem,” and led chants of “revenge, revenge,” while expressing hope Netanyahu would be “destroyed.”

Each satellite will carry Nvidia's newest chips, the Rubin GPUs and Vera CPUs.
