मान्यवर कांशीराम जी ने अपना पूरा जीवन उन करोड़ों वंचित, शोषित और पिछड़े वर्गों की आवाज़ बनने में समर्पित किया, जिन्हें लंबे समय तक व्यवस्था में उनका उचित स्थान नहीं मिल पाया। उन्होंने समाज के अंतिम पायदान पर खड़े व्यक्ति के आत्मसम्मान, अधिकार और सम्मानजनक भागीदारी के लिए एक सशक्त आंदोलन खड़ा किया।

उनकी दूरदृष्टि ने भारतीय लोकतंत्र को यह सोच दी कि जब तक समाज के हर वर्ग को न्यायपूर्ण अवसर और प्रतिनिधित्व नहीं मिलेगा, तब तक लोकतंत्र की वास्तविक भावना अधूरी रहेगी। सामाजिक न्याय, समान अवसर और संवैधानिक मूल्यों के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता आज भी करोड़ों लोगों को प्रेरणा देती है।
आज उनकी जयंती पर हम उनके संघर्ष, उनके विचारों और उनके सामाजिक परिवर्तन के संकल्प को स्मरण करते हुए उन्हें श्रद्धापूर्वक नमन करते हैं।

Allahabad High Court rejects UP administration's decision to restrict the number of persons offering namaz in a mosque in #Sambhal.

Bench of Justice Atul Sreedharan and Justice Siddharth Nandan says if the SP and District Collector cannot ensure law and order, then they should either resign or seek transfer.

"If the local authorities i.e. Superintendent of Police and Collector feels that the law and order situation could arise because of which they want to limit the number of worshipers within the premises, they should either resign from their post or seek transfer out side Sambhal if they feel they are not competent enough to enforce the rule of law.

It is duty of the State to ensure that every community is able to offer worship peacefully in the designated place of worship and if it is a private property as already been held by the Court earlier, to perform worship without any permission from the State."

Allah is kind. My father had a very close shave. The details are sketchy at the moment but what is known is that a man with a loaded pistol was able to get within point blank range & discharge a shot. It was only the close protection team that deflected the shot & ensured that the assassination attempt failed. There are more questions than answers at the moment including but not limited to how someone was able to get this close to a Z+ NSG protected former CM.

उत्तराखंड के दीपक भारत के हीरो हैं।

नफ़रत, डर और अराजकता के माहौल में कोई भी देश आगे नहीं बढ़ सकता। शांति के बिना विकास सिर्फ़ एक जुमला है।

हमें और दीपकों की ज़रूरत है - जो झुकें नहीं, जो डरें नहीं, और जो पूरी ताक़त से संविधान के साथ खड़े रहें।
