I've finished the background for stage 6, now to begin designing the enemies.
Making stages gets quicker since a lot of the enemy mechanics already exist, but creating unique combinations and enjoyable flow is the hard part.

I'm currently finishing off stage 5 (of 7). I will also be adding a caravan stage after the story stages are done.
A lot of improvements in performance too. If you tried the alpha demo you will notice them for sure.

@Jerocol1 Thanks! Frontier Force had a physical release last year, but may get another in the future.

@CarlosLpezGar18 No, only the melee weapon can destroy the green/leaf bullets right now.
I'm not against it but it would weaken the melee weapon to allow a long range weapon to do it too.

The last week has been spent replacing calculations for tables in hot paths that weren't needed now that a lot enemy behaviour is set. I also refactored collisions a little. Slowly it's getting there.

In Razing Core the player's hit box is represented by the orange cockpit.
One way I found to make the hits feel more fair was to keep the bullet and player on screen for a few frames to make it clear.
