LOCKDOWN BABIES
We're delighted to announce the arrivals of some new hairy babies on the farm. We always think that Highland calves look like baby bears with hooves 😍🥰

Our calves are born out on the hill and are usually hidden away by their mothers in the long grass.

PREPARING TO MAKE HAY (WHILE THE SUN SHINES)

Nick has been out rolling the fields this morning. This helps to flatten mole hills & push stones beneath the ground so that we avoid damaging machinery when the time comes to cut and bale the hay.

I recently defrosted a smallish portion of Lamb Tagine (see previous recipe here https://t.co/s3kzXv0KIJ). In a flash of inspiration I added some mozzarella and encased it in puff pastry- the Tagine a la Puff was born! We'll definitely be making this again!
