Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has directed the Finance Officer of the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly to submit records of all 2025 disbursements from the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) Fund by Friday.
The directive was issued during the assessment of MMDCEs after Assembly officials failed to account for the use of the funds. The Assembly reportedly received more than GH¢500,000 for PWD-related support in 2025.
