Congratulations to Doolittle County, led by County Counselor Jacob Malinowski on winning the Beau Solomon Award this session.
In Beau's honor, we present our award to the county who earned the highest points during sports.

TODAY IN BADGER BOYS STATE
Today - Friday, June 13, 2025 - marked the last full day of the 82nd session of Badger Boys State.
Today, citizens from all across Wisconsin spent the last day with their friends, fellows, and brothers as citizens of Badger Boys State.
Each year, two BBS citizens are selected to attend Boys Nation in Washington, D.C.
This year, Joshua Mims and Charles Haque were selected as the 2025 Boys Nation senators from Wisconsin, with Thomas Peters and Jamo Boettcher selected as alternate delegates.
Congrats!
The Ron Boylan Scholarship Award honors Ron Boylan, a Badger Boys State alumnus and BBS counselor for 28 years. Ron tragically passed away after a battle with cancer in 2011. In his honor, this scholarship is awarded to one citizen who serves as a BBS Sheriff each year.

Congrats to Jayden Mosley for winning the 2025 BBS Samsung American Legion Scholarship!
The $1,250 scholarship is meant to show appreciation to American veterans who served in the Korean War. Recipients are also eligible to win up to $10,000 if selected for the national award.

Citizens voted for statewide office seekers, and the winners were sworn in during the Inaugural Assembly, which also honored America's veterans.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez also attended, speaking with citizens.
