Im so happy w married feminists icel. It breaks the bias men try to build that feminists wont/dont get married to men and all married women are subservient/foolish
@italian_Spencer There’s something you did/do that the boyfriend (your guy) doesn’t like but is just tolerating and he told his babe and she is the only one that can tell him the truth but ofc he wont tell you that one
Alot of you think youre the yardstick and thats the problem. People were raised differently and in the midst of that theres still a universal way to do things and point is, you treat a guest like a guest. Its a couple hours - 3days, bfr.
Its veryy different if she stayed longer
Unrelated but this is a reason I’ve stopped talking to someone i was into
Every time she came over, we either had to buy food, or I cook. Not once did she go into the kitchen.
You’ll stay over for 2-3 days. I’ll leave the house to get the ingredients. I’ll prepare everything, make the food and she’ll eat. I’ll do the dishes too after.
It was either that or I had to buy food that we’d eat. Not once did she offer to cook or make us a meal except that one time I’d eaten and she made noodles for herself.
Happened 3 times and after the third time, I just let her go
One of my micro feminism is to make sure women who visits me don't do anything 🤭
One time my husband wanted to complain about one of his family friend (lady) that visited us and does nothing
I asked him that if she was a man, will he expect him to do anything for the less than 14days she is staying - let's just say we never raised that matter again
Women are not natural cleaners and workers or cooks, if someone visits me, I expect them to act like the guest they are and relax
Gosh, this is 2026
@lotoscuffs_ For friends, yes. If youre a man trying to “talk” to me or we’re involved (not in a relationship), why am i doing chores in your house? His context seemed like he and the babe were just involved cos he would have said ex, or friend otherwise
I thought the South African vs Nigerian dragging was just Twitter banter… until I visited South Africa. 🥲
The lady at the airport saw our Nigerian passports, pulled us aside & kept us waiting with plenty questions.
Even the cab driver from the airport kept going on about Nigerians “taking their girls” & all sorts🤩
Nigerians are good people. What did we do to deserve this much hostility? 🥺
Men do it & it’s not a problem. The reason you consider it one is because you believe that cooking is a woman’s duty so you now think it’s a problem that she’s not cooking & cleaning when she visits.
