OMG #P2AH has a successful Ravencoin build!
No P2SH for assets needed!
Local tests passing!
Single signer, multi signer, and chained signatures all included.
I believe it's ready for testnet.
Let's get @tronblack and @Hans_Schm1dt to take a look and get a blessed binary. Submitting PR now.
This is the new life $RVN needs to get back on the map! This takes asset custody and compliance beyond all other chains!
P2AH Gives the ability to create asset based addresses. You move the asset to sign the transaction. It can do multiple admin asset addresses where some or all can "sign" for transactions.
This gives complete sets of UTXOs the ability to be transferred. But also the ability of a single UTXO at an address to be spent while keeping the others safe and unexposed to key reuse.
It will allow market places, brokers, or families to share a pool of transactions.
You or your spouse can spend them.
You or your broker can make trades.
You can even set up an address you and your friends (or trusted set of organizations) can use to help you recover lost keys!
Best of all
You can't get rugged by a marketplace going offline! A simple address containing your and their assets as signers. If someone buys it the marketplace sends it sending you their coins. You want to stop selling it you move it out of that address.
The freedom this brings to cryptocurrency is HUGE. Governments could allow off-chain single or multiparty kyc. (Addresses with known kyc holders being in the assets that can sign.) Defi marketplaces could limit transactions only between kyc'd assets. Without the users loosing control of their assets/tokens.
Governments want to be able to know every one is kyc'd. Now it's possible to give that to them. You wouldn't have to and it would be very intentional to set it up but it's now possible to have our cake and eat it too.
We can be our own bank and the governments can agree that's ok.
@0xDavecryps Get a ten year mortgage. Problem solved. The actual payment isn't that much more typically and saves a ton on interest. PMI is also a killer do a conventional loan saves hundreds a month for the first few years. That can go to your principle instead.
@RohdeAli Yes and no. I am working less hard at individual tasks but, more because I have so many to follow up on now. I don't need to spend months crunching the numbers and toiling over code to verify that hey that idea for a compression algorithm just didn't work.
Earn smarter not work hard.
Don't work but, build. Builders are the ones that see those payoffs. Not because they are lucky but because they are worth it. Why do people complain about wealth but not sports stars. Making millions for playing games. You see their "value". You get paid what you're worth. If not go build it so you do.
Yeah but with AI, too many people don't and it becoming the main interface people see the world through is scary. I mean think of what has happened to the world when people only see the world through their phones and social media. An AI trying to keep your attention and sell you things.... That's just scary. I know what you want how much you can spend and convince you that it'll be best for you.
@djcian@0xTycoon That's why I have my RVN in the middle. Even though I created the system to have .rvn dns based off the admin assets. (Nobody want to route it because pulling dns records off a public blockchain is hard) Avoids the whole ICANN fees because its based off blockchain assets.
@mlech26l Throw it in a grow/heat tent then pipe the air either outside or to your furnace intake. This also provides a good form factor to add insulation to. It does need some decent airflow but not an insulated fan will only drive your partner a little insane. Trust me.
@zhizul77 Once we get #P2AH tested and merged we can take this a step further. Allow account based systems by using the transfer of admin assets as the signature. This allows things like joint checking and brokerage accounts where you and you broker have access to the funds
Not just solve the "problem" but resolve these problems.
Not just house the homeless.
Have the homeless helping to maintain and manage the communities themselves.
Have job training and employment options. Have people learn to clean.
Create a maid service to help maintain the housing.
Empower the homeless to do the planting and the pollution cleanup.
Don't solve one problem when you can get multiple with a little more effort.
It would be pretty cool if billionaires started competing over who could plant the most trees, house the most homeless people, and remove the most pollution from the Earth.
What BTC does for gold is what RVN does for assets. The coolest part is that the asset system has opened up a way that we can now use moving the admin assets to sign for transactions. P2AH.
This adds a whole new level to utxo blockchains.
If an asset is in a shared address with two different tokens able to authorize they can then both sign and keep the utxo of the shared asset where it is as the signature is tied to a different address that is always unique once used.
This opens up things like friends being able to all sign a transaction to recover lost keys. Or if you died your lawyer being able to distribute assets/coins to your heirs.
Could even be used to create a system that would act like banks do now where under subpoena they can freeze your accounts. Granted this would have to be intentional on your part to create it but would be a way to present a system with exactly the same capabilities as they have for enforcement with banks. So no one can really complain about following their ridiculous rules and regulations.
They didn't have that opportunity before. It was too cost prohibitive. Now they have the funds that they can take those risks. They don't have to hire good people they have them. They can say we are sticking with out core competency and only need x engineers now but that's close minded.
@caps_raunak Yeah AI can't just write code. Its like how Tesla self driving works currently. You still need a competent driver behind the wheel. It just does a lot of the dirty work for you.
Social Security is like public school. One keeps our old and infirm people out of trouble and "fed". While the other keeps out littles out of trouble and "fed". I get about as much out of one as the other.
I don't have to watch my kids or parents all day.
Ok that's a little flippant but not too inaccurate
Yeah we need social security as much as we need public education. Their baby-sitter funds. They provide very little return to those that pay for them beyond keeping the natives happily occupied. Yeah, my kids go to public school but, only because I might lose a few if they were homeschooled.
Me and the Mrs. don't have the patience for it and, occasionally they make friends or learn things. But honestly, from what I have heard you can teach your kids in a few hours what they need and I have to do that with homework so I don't really get much value out of it beyond daycare.
