GTA San Andreas is 20 years old and it is still more detailed than games releasing TODAY. It's still insane what Rockstar managed to pull off on the PS2 hardware.

Sacha Baron Cohen is being roundly condemned for his latest racist skit on national TV.
But few people know how closely he has worked with both US and Israeli intelligence throughout his career.

@DavvyB01 As someone who’s had a similar year but in different ways, the only thing that I can say is that when I started looking for someone who matched my values as opposed to my interests/previous aesthetic preferences. Everything changed and I just kept getting better
If they made an all #dinosaur cast remake of #Grease:
“Tell me Rawr, Tell me Rawr…did it look like a star….. (it was a meteor)
Tell me Rawr, Tell me Rawr…small arms can’t reach very far”
a lot of people seem to be wondering why seemingly everything on top 40 radio right now is an interpolation or cover of a massive hit from the early 2000s. that is a de-risking strategy on behalf of the people who now own the underlying copyrights. they are the same funds buying large tranches of single family homes across the US. (in the 80s they bought distressed companies and fired everyone etc). now they buy catalogs and remake/license the IP and feed them to radio to hopefully break even because no one in India or Ecuador is going to pay for a $12 music streaming subscription. let it be understood that no one likes these songs because they suck

In music and media i think it will eventually swing back to The Internet Of Giving A Fuck- a high-intention/high-reward alternative to passive media gruel. but its gonna be a painful couple of years
just got doxxed to within 15 miles by a vision model, from only a single photo of some random trees. the implications for privacy are terrifying. i had no idea we would get here so soon. holy shit
