আজ ১৪ ডিসেম্বর, শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী দিবস। ১৯৭১ সালের এদিনে বর্বর পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী ও তাদের এদেশীয় দোসর রাজাকার, আল বদর, আল-শামস বাহিনী বাংলার শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তান বুদ্ধিজীবীদের নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করে। হানাদার পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী তাদের পরাজয় আসন্ন জেনে বাঙালি জাতিকে মেধাশূন্য করার ��ক্ষ্যে বুদ্ধিজীবী নিধনের এই পরিকল্পনা করে।

মুক্তিযুদ্ধের শেষলগ্নে ১০ থেকে ১৪ ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে আল-বদর বাহিনী ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে শিক্ষক, সাংবাদিক, চিকিৎসক, প্রকৌশলী, আইনজীবী, সংস্কৃতি কর্মীসহ বিভিন্ন পেশার বরেণ্য ব্যক্তিদের অপহরণ করে ঢাকার মোহাম্মদপুর ফিজিক্যাল ট্রেনিং ইনস্টিটিউটে স্থাপিত আল-বদর বাহিনীর ক্যাম্পে নিয়ে যায়। ১৪ ডিসেম্বরে ন���দারুণ যন্ত্রণা দিয়ে রায়েরবাজার ও মিরপুরে তাদের হত্যা করা হয়।

জাতির এক গভীর সংকটময় মুহূর্তে এ বছর শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী দিবস পালিত হ���্ছে। স্বাধীনতাবিরোধী এবং বুদ্ধিজীবী নিধনকারীদের দোসররা দেশি-বিদেশি ষড়যন্ত্রের মাধ্যমে নির্বাচিত আওয়ামী লীগ সরকারকে হটিয়ে অবৈধভাবে ক্ষমতা দখল করে সাধারণ মানুষের উপর অমানবিক নিপীড়ন- নির্যাতন চালাচ্ছে। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাকে জলাঞ্জলি দিয়ে জামাতে ইসলামীসহ ১৯৭১-এ�� পরাজিত শক্তিকে পুনর্বাসন করছে। পরিকল্পিতভাবে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্মারকচিহ্ন ধ্বংস করেছে। প্রিয় দেশকে জঙ্গিদের উর্বর লীলাভূমিতে পরিণত করছে।

স্বাধীনতাবিরোধী অপশক্তির এসব অপকর্ম বীর বাঙালি কোনদিন মেনে নেয়নি, ভবিষ্যতেও নেবে না। এদের দাঁতভাঙ্গা জবাব দেওয়ার জন্য আমি মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় বিশ্বাসী সকলকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হওয়ার আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।

🚨Shocking: Chhatra League Leader's Mother Killed During Prayer by Political Rivals.

The victim, Arina Begum (45), was the wife of Abul Kalam. The incident occurred at night in the Kaliaganj area of Kajoldighi Kaliaganj Union. Upon receiving information, Boda police recovered the body and conducted a preliminary investigation before sending it to the Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The victim's family is reportedly preparing to file a case.

According to local sources, Arina Begum was performing her Esha prayers at home when assailants entered and repeatedly struck her on the head with sharp weapons. She collapsed to the ground, bleeding heavily. Later that night, her husband, Abul Kalam, returned from the local market to find her lying in a pool of blood. His cries for help brought neighbors rushing to the scene.

The victim's son, Wahed Zaman Amit, is the president of the Kajoldighi, Kaliaganj Union Student League. Since the government changed on August 5, Wahed has reportedly been unable to stay at home due to political tensions.

Boda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azim Uddin stated, "After receiving information, we visited the scene. The preliminary investigation shows multiple injuries on the victim's head inflicted by sharp and pointed weapons. We have sent the body for an autopsy."

In the early hours of Victory Day, @bdbnp78 activists launched a brutal attack on @albd1971 supporters at Dhanmondi 32, while the police stood by, doing nothing.

At least eight @albd1971 activists and supporters were arrested today as they went to pay their respects at the National Memorial in Savar on the occasion of Victory Day.

At the same time, the illegitimate @Yunus_Centre government disgracefully locked Bangabandhu’s tomb, denying the public the opportunity to honor the architect of Bangladesh’s independence on this solemn day.

These acts of brutality by the #Yunus regime highlights its true fascist nature. Under the guise of national unity, it continues to serve the interests of anti-liberation forces, particularly @BJI_Official.
