- The store adjusts the price of that item to the amount of money that’s on the person’s EBT card
- The store gives the person 50 cents on the dollar for the balance on the EBT card

Meaning is you have $120 on your EBT card, you’re able to exchange it for $60 cash and the store pockets the rest of the money for doing the transaction

This is a scam that is happening nationwide. There have even been so many mainstream media stories where this has been highlighted as a common scam

• Auch die Mehrheit der FDP-Fraktion stimmte gegen die Vorlage.

La trahison ne commence pas le jour où l’on hisse un drapeau étranger à Berne. Elle commence le jour où l’on accepte que la Suisse ait quoi que ce soit à négocier avec l’Union européenne sur son propre droit.

La Confédération n’est pas un land, pas un associé, pas un marché à stabiliser. Elle est un État souverain, soit-disant neutre, armé de la démocratie directe et du fédéralisme. L’UE, elle, n’est pas un partenaire commercial parmi d’autres. C’est une construction politique qui n’existe que pour absorber : même droit, mêmes juges, même politique migratoire, même contribution, même ligne. On n’y entre pas à moitié. On s’y soumet, ou l’on reste dehors.

Les bilatérales III disent le contraire, et c’est là qu’est la trahison. Reprise dynamique du droit de Bruxelles, litiges tranchés selon la logique de la Cour de justice de l’Union, compensations si le peuple vote mal, cohésion à payer, calendrier accéléré pour passer en force : ce n’est pas un accord. C’est un protectorat avec les formes sauves. Beat Rieder, du Centre, l’a dit plus nettement que l’UDC : même l’Empire britannique n’imposait pas à ses colonies ce que l’UE exige de la Suisse. François Schaller peut bien titrer « futur protectorat européen ». Le mot est en dessous de la réalité. Un protectorat, au moins, savait qu’il ne décidait plus.

Ceux qui mènent ce dossier ne se trompent pas de dossier. Ils savent ce qu’ils signent. Un conseiller fédéral, un négociateur, un parlementaire qui pousse ce paquet ne défend pas l’accès au marché. Il échange l’indépendance contre un siège à la table de ceux qui écriront la loi suisse de demain. Le serment ne portait pas sur le chiffre d’affaires. Il portait sur la Confédération.

La Suisse n’a rien à faire avec l’UE. Ni adhésion déguisée, ni « voie bilatérale », ni statut d’associé qui reprend le droit sans le voter. Le commerce se fait par des traités entre égaux, révocables, limités aux marchandises. Dès que le traité touche au droit, aux juges, aux frontières ou à l’impôt, ce n’est plus du commerce. C’est une cession.

On appellera ça pragmatisme, modernité, peur de l’isolement. Ce sont les mots de ceux qui ont déjà renoncé. Une puissance qui ne se sent plus capable d’assumer seule son statut n’a pas trouvé un partenaire. Elle a trouvé un maître. Et ceux qui la lui amènent ne négocient pas. Ils livrent.
